LEAFING THROUGH TIMES

For the public? No. Not for every being. It was purely meant for members, members only.

The paper (nay document?) which got accessed in 2003, was dated 1991 –about two decades ago. This is probably the year in which some college students now were born. In a country like Malawi, where culture and traditions have always been respected, many a girl who cherish this year as their one of birth are now married.

The document was produced (under Satan’s rulership) by those who accepted to sell their souls to him, the devil, the father of lies, whose intention on the mankind is nothing short of killing, robbing and destroying. Yes, they are those who are best known as satanics. Realizing how important communication is, they thought is wise also to communicate to their fellows.

Its theme was time. The time they were living in. It served as a warning and a reminder. It was a warning to the members that their time of deceiving God’s people on this planet earth was fast approaching an end, bearing in their mind that “God does not lie and that every word of His will be fulfilled”.

It was a reminder too to them that they should do their best to deceive as many souls as possible. This, the paper communicated, was to see many people failing to get raptured whenever the trumpet would blow. It did emphasize that “what the Bible said is being fulfilled and we know that rapture will take place any time”.

Since then, they have been fighting this spiritual battle. They know their time of causing all this chaos is drawing nigh the last hour. They know the Bible is the word of life. And they are very much aware that God through His only begotten Son, Lord Jesus Christ, is saving to eternal life those who the devil and his demons will not manage to deceive.

One salient thing, dear reader, the devil takes pride in, is the death of unsaved souls. If one dies today before being born again, by accepting Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior, his/her soul is not saved. From what? From the wrath to come when the devil and his demons together with those who did not surrender their lives to God through Jesus Christ during their time here on earth, will be given eternal punishment.

These are those who will not be found in the book of life and will be cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)

Cunningly, the devil is now blinding many who have given him the consent to rule their lives. They have allowed him to command their bodies to steal, lie, fornicate, commit adultery, dress obscenely, speak and imagine evil things, take pleasure in all these ‘earthly’ things, and many more.

But don’t you know that had you resisted the devil he would flee from you? (James 4:7)

As these lines below minister, really, there’s a great day coming:

There’s a bright day coming, a bright day coming,

There’s a bright day coming by and by,

But its brightness shall only come to them that love the Lord,

Are you ready for that day to come?

As the Bible reads: This is the day when the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with a voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

About 20 years ago, the devil did communicate to his followers that their time of deceiving God’s people is coming to an end. They strategized to mislead as many as possible to eternal damnation, away from paradise, which God prepared for those who keep and do His word through the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The wise in spirit know that the days we’re living in are the last days which the Word already foretold in the Bible. Among many other signs the Bible foretold of the last days are famine or food shortages (Matthew 24:7); great earthquakes (Luke 21:11); nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom –wars (Matthew 24:7).

Recently, on January 12, 2010 in particular, an earthquake occurred and claimed thousands of lives in Haiti, the poorest nation in the western hemisphere, a place where malnutrition is widespread and less than half the population has access to clean drinking water.

In addition, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, since 1990 alone an average of 17 earthquakes per year have been powerful enough to damage buildings and crack the ground.

The days have also seen millions of people losing their lives in wars since the 20th century throughout this 21st century. In the Middle-East, Sudan and Somalia, just to mention but a few, many have also lost their lives due to wars. The issue of food shortages is in no way news both in war-torn regions and those at peace. Do we need more other signs fulfilling the Word of God as regards the last days than these ones?
